Even the most perfect make-up can get messed up by one little detail. The experience of many women indicates that this detail is usually the lipstick. Even the most expensive lipstick can smudge while eating, drinking or just because of the rain.
Women love having colour on their lips. Frequently chosen are intense red as well as matte shades of pink. Soft pink or raspberry pink is worn for daily make-up and vibrant red is reserved for night out or romantic dinner. Although, lipstick can be bought almost anywhere, even petrol station, we still face the problem of achieving the perfect effect.
Tested methods for smudging lipstick:
- Peeling – well taken care of lips are best way to provide long lasting make-up. If lips are not chapped, bit, dry and cracked, it is much easier to obtain perfect result. Start with lip peeling to smoother lips and make lipstick look better on them. You can perform peeling at home, with for example honey and sugar or grained coffee beans and shea butter. Delicate one minute lip massage boosts blood circulation, exfoliates dead skin cells and helps tighten skin as well as makes it more elastic.
- Powder or tint – to make lipstick last longer, you must also protect it against rubbing off. Colour application alone is not enough. If you managed to achieve perfect shape and cover, powder lips gently for product to hold better. Perfect for it are special fixers, but mineral powder will do as well. Quite an interesting option is tint, or permanent lip gloss in colour of the lipstick. This option works on lips even when used individually.
- Application with a brush – application of lipstick on lips in traditional way does not provide perfect cover. Each next layer gives on lips effect reverse to the intended. Cartoony lips with lack of lipstick in the corners and gathering in the creases. This result can be avoided by use of small brush. Even traditional lipstick can be applied on lips with applicator, that provides durability, natural effect, perfect cover and precision in application. This way it is much easier for lip make-up to last for hours to come.
