Spring renewal – what your skin needs?

Early spring is the best time for skin renewal treatments to eliminate hyperpigmentations and regenerate epidermis and you don’t need to visit a beauty salon to do that. Do the full renewal of your skin in the comfort of your own house. Try epidermis exfoliation and revitalization with exfoliators and acids.

Thanks to them, you will reveal your beautiful and healthy skin. All the hormonal and after sun hyperpigmentations will disappear if you only reach for the right cosmetics, which are often referred to as at-home microdermabrasion. After such a treatment, you need to keep in mind to use a cream with high SPF before going out.

Spring skin renewal – cleansing

In order for the skin to be smooth, have even skin tone, be revitalized, you will nee an exfoliator. For normal, oily, and combination skin, you can use a scrub. After cleansing, remember to always use a toner to calm the skin and restore its right pH.

For dry and sensitive skin use gentle enzymatic exfoliator – it doesn’t require rubbing, is gentle to the skin and at the same time ensures perfect epidermis renewal effect. Enzymatic exfoliator loosens and dissolves the dead skin cells.

For normal or dry skin perfect will be cosmetics containing light-weight, synthetic particles, e.g. grained flaxseed and wheat bran mixed with water.

Spring skin renewal – moisturizing, nourishment

Once the epidermis has been exfoliated, you should provide it with nutrients and moisturizing to protect it against TEWL. For this reason, you should consider getting revitalizing face serum with nourishing, revitalizing, and moisturizing properties for the skin (perfect will be aloe or hyaluronic acid). Overnight, it is good to treat your skin to something extra – choose stronger care with for example retinol or cosmetic acids with exfoliative action. Acids and retinol are perfect for use overnight but remember to also use protective, nourishing, and gentle night cream.

It’s good if once a week you serve your skin to reach in active substances face mask, e.g. moisturizing, collagen, lifting, or warming up but matched with your skin type and needs. If you don’t have a drugstore product at hand, you can use the power of natural ingredients: mix yogurt, egg, honey, mashed banana, grated cucumber and natural oils (one of the best ones for all skin types is argan oil – look for cold-pressed, unrefined, certified because it is what determines it’s quality).

Homemade face toner

After you take off the face mask, you should use a toner to calm the skin and restore its correct pH. If you want, you can make a face toner, just use aloe juice or herbal brew. For skin care perfect is chamomile, nettle, white or green tea. Brew the herbs and pour it into the bottle. After a few days, you should brew a new herbal toner because this type of product gets bad pretty fast.

You should also consider the use of high-quality cream with vitamins as it’s great complementation for the serum. Remember also about the eye area. Choose an undereye serum that you can use before the light-weight cream, oil, or cosmetic butter (coffee butter is a true hit for undereye care).

To moisturize the skin, you should drink a lot of water, eat healthy and nutritious food, limit sugar and salt intake, and make sure that your diet is full of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Keep in mind that healthy lifestyle, good nights sleep, good mood, relaxation, and exercise have a significant impact on your skin’s condition. Make-up also takes its toll on the skin so try to use those with natural composition, e.g. mineral cosmetics. In the spring, your skin will be grateful for BB creams and light-weight foundation with pigmenting ingredients.

Due to the fact that in the spring the sun can be a handful, you should use UVA and UVB filters (at least SPF 20). After the winter, your skin needs a lot of care. If you take good care of your face skin, in the spring it will repay you with a glowing look.
