Apparently, for most women there is nothing more pleasant than shopping. Girls love to surround themselves with new and fashionable clothes and cosmetics, even those, that are not intended to ever wear or use. But how to buy stuff with common sense?
Before you fall in a shopping spree, you must remember how many times you purchased a cosmetic without thinking and being influenced by emotions you filled up your basket with useless items. Probably, many times in the past the products turned out to be a total failure, and a large amount of money has disappeared from your wallet. If, from now on, you intend to do shopping more carefully, you must follow a few simple rules. First of all, determine the needs and problems of the skin. Then, take a closer look on the list of components of the product. Next, check the expiration date and choose the right shades. And most importantly, make a shopping list.
Try to update your shopping list by including cosmetics that has just finished, and which you think turned out to be suitable for your needs. Just before the trip to the drugstore look through your make-up bag, dressing table and all the shelves in the bathroom. This way, you will be able to see what items you need at the moment, and which will soon be gone. Split your shopping list into two parts: the cosmetics purchased every month and cosmetics purchased less frequently. Perhaps you prefer another approach: personal care products and so-called coloured cosmetics. Every month, you will probably need products for make-up removing, cotton pads, hair conditioner. Cosmetics purchased less frequently include: body lotion, cream, scrub, shampoo.
Many girls also create a list known as a wish list. All cosmetics, clothes and gadgets that will be useful to you in the future are there. If a particular product got on this list, it means that you do not need to run to the shop and buy it straight away. You might as well create a black list of cosmetics. Those must be avoided and you will never buy them again. Complement the names of the products with negative reviews or ingredients that cause irritation.
Before you go shopping, you might want to consider a few things first. First of all, carefully read the components of the cosmetics and consider whether you will be able to use them up before the expiration date. It is also important whether the product is really useful to you and whether it has any drawbacks? Additionally, be certain that the shopping is not a compensation for something unpleasant that happened in the past, just to cheer yourself up. Consider postponing your shopping to another day of the week. Make sure that you really need the particular products at the moment. Have a successful shopping!
